Description

A slim 50cm bar of light that goes on the wall without an electrician. It runs on a rechargeable battery and holds on by a magnet, so you can put it beside a bed, in a hallway or on a stair wall where there is no cable in the wall at all.

A Wall Light With No Wiring

Most wall lights need a cable chased into the plaster. This one does not: fix the small round plate with the screws supplied and the bar clips on by a magnet. To recharge it, lift it off the wall and plug in the USB-C cable; three to five hours gives up to 40 hours of light, depending on brightness. The light itself is indirect: it comes from behind the bar and washes the wall in a soft halo on both sides, with no glare in your eyes. Dim it from the remote control or by touch. In brushed gold it warms a painted wall; in matte black it draws a clean dark line against pale plaster. Use one beside a bed, or a pair either side of a mirror, a picture or a headboard.

Use It Where There Is No Cable

Beside a bed in place of a bedside lamp, along a hallway, on a stair wall, either side of a mirror or above a picture. Because nothing is wired in, it suits rented homes and walls you would rather not open up.
