Description
A sphere of opal glass held off the wall by a round brass plate. The simplest Bauhaus idea, a ball of light on a disc, and it has not needed changing since. Switched on, the whole globe glows and lights the wall around it.
A Ball of Light on a Brass Disc
Two sizes. The 15cm globe is for pairs: one each side of a bed, a mirror or a doorway. The 20cm globe works alone on a hallway or stair wall. The brass plate is 10cm and screws to a standard wall box; the glass unscrews for the bulb. It takes one E27 bulb, mains wired. The opal glass hides the bulb entirely, so there is no glare at eye level.
