Marble turns a warm amber when it is lit from behind, and this alabaster marble wall light is built around that single effect. A slim stone panel sits on a slender metal bracket, and two small lamps send light up and down the wall rather than out into the room.

A Warm Stone Glow at Wall Level

This sconce is made for rooms that need light without brightness. The vertical format takes very little wall, which makes it easy to place beside a bed, either side of a mirror or along a hallway where a ceiling light would feel too broad. The stone diffuses the lamps so the light reads as a soft column rather than a point, and the veining shows through as it warms. Where to Use It
