Stone above, light below. This travertine glass pendant light sets a hand carved block of beige travertine over a softly frosted glass globe, so the fitting is half mineral and half glow.

Raw Stone Against a Frosted Glass Core

Travertine is a porous stone, and that is exactly why it is used here: the pores, veins and earthy tones are geological rather than designed, so no two tops are alike. Against that rough surface the frosted globe reads as a soft warm core, with no visible bulb and no hard edge. The contrast is what makes the piece work in a Japandi or rustic minimal room, where the interest is meant to come from material rather than colour. The shade measures 15 cm across and 16 cm high. The cord drop is adjustable at installation, so it suits both low and high ceilings.

Is every piece identical?

No. The top is cut from genuine travertine, and its pores and veining are formed by the stone itself, so each one differs slightly.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself is not dimmable. Fitting a dimmable E27 lamp on a compatible dimmer switch will let you soften the light.
