Description

A low, rounded shade of opal glass, 28cm across and only 10cm deep, hung on a slim cord under a chrome fitting. The shape is the sixties take on Bauhaus: one soft form, one colour, no decoration. Lit, the whole shade glows evenly and the light falls gently onto the table.

One Soft Shape, Lit From Within

The opal glass diffuses the bulb completely, so from any seat you see a glowing shape rather than a bulb. At 28cm it is wide enough to carry a small dining table on its own and shallow enough to hang two or three in a line over an island without blocking the view. The cord is 200cm and is shortened at installation. It takes one E27 bulb, mains wired, and comes in orange or cream.
