Description

Three thin black arms reach out from a central stem, each ending in a shell shaped shade that is black outside and white inside. It is the mid-century ceiling light that fills a whole ceiling with a single fitting and sends light to three parts of the room at once.

One Fitting, Three Pools of Light

A single pendant lights the middle of a room and leaves the corners dim. Here the three arms are of different lengths, so one shade can sit over the sofa, one over the table and one towards a reading chair, all from one ceiling point. The frame is black iron, fine enough to read as a drawing against a white ceiling, and the white lining of each shade throws a clean, wide light downwards. The stem drops 45cm from a 12cm ceiling cup, which suits ceilings of normal height. Choose the size by the room: Small has arms of 60, 70 and 90cm; Medium 70, 90 and 110cm; Large 90, 110 and 135cm. It takes three E27 bulbs, one per shade.

Use It to Light a Whole Room
